Mofo is back!

Former Gov. Rod Blagojevich has a new gig -- as a Chicago radio host.

WLS-AM program director Bob Shomper says Blagojevich will be on the air from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. Wednesday, taking calls from listeners, telling stories and talking with guests.

Shomper says it's a one-time deal in the slot normally filled by the "Don Wade & Roma Morning Show." The regular hosts are off this week.

In January, WLS offered Blagojevich his own weekend radio show if he agreed to resign as governor. Blagojevich didn't take the station up on that offer, and he was later ousted from office by Illinois lawmakers.

Blagojevich faces federal corruption charges that accuse him of attempting to sell President Barack Obama's former U.S. Senate seat, among other things. He denies any wrongdoing.

Why? This should be the final train wreck for this guy. I know ratings are so important to radio stations but WLS should be ashamed for giving this blowhard windbag two hours of air time.

there talk show lineup is surreal, it's: Don Wade and Roma, Mancow, Rush Limbaugh, Roe Conn, and then Sean Hannity. its like an asylum for the politically insane.

The ratings will be through the roof and there is nothing wrong with freedom of speech. There is nothing to be ashamed of because there is already plenty of "blowhard windbags" on the air......

I don't understand why he isn't in jail. Was what he did not illegal? Selling government seats is not a punishable offense? I don't understand, and I can't pretend to.

Tara he won't have his trial until late in the year or early next year.

i don't beleive it was a serious offer. i don't think any politician would resign to get a radio spot?

I will never understand the justice system. It's beyond flawed. Why so long? Why does he get to continue to be a free man for months and months, there is really no doubt of his guilt.
