Yes Were Open!
Shocking I know, but thanks to George Bush and his wonderful eight years as president I will now have time to share my thoughts to the world. I lost my research analyst position right before Christmas but get to work until Jan. 15th. Since my job is in the mergers and acquisitions industry things may pick up by April or over the summer so we shall see.
Happy New Year! With 2008 behind us we can only move forward but we must remember to look back to avoid the mistakes made.
How nice of Bush to tell us all that he was buying a new house in Dallas when he leaves Washington. What, the ranch isn't big enough? What a slap in the face to every American going through foreclosure and losing their homes. All because of him and his cronies giving out loans to those who couldn't pay them back.
There's so much more to rant about but I'll have time in a couple weeks.

Sen. Mitchell meet Rambo.
Well I think we can put the steroids controversy to rest. Sylvester Stallone has calmed my fears. I never knew how smart Sly was.
NEW YORK - Sylvester Stallone says he used human growth hormone to get buff for the new "Rambo" movie, and defends its use.
"HGH (human growth hormone) is nothing," the 61-year-old actor tells Time magazine in its Feb. 4 issue. "Anyone who calls it a steroid is grossly misinformed."
Because it is nearly undetectable, HGH has become a substance of great concern in major league baseball and other sports battling allegations of rampant doping.
"Testosterone to me is so important for a sense of well-being when you get older," he says. "Everyone over 40 years old would be wise to investigate it because it increases the quality of your life. Mark my words. In 10 years it will be over the counter."
Stallone directed and co-wrote the new "Rambo" movie, which arrived in theaters Friday.

Recipe for waste
I enjoy food. Granted I'm picky and you'd call me a meat and potatoes kind of guy.
I like watching the Food Network, restaurant reviews, etc. The other day I was thinking when these chefs are preparing their dishes they always toss these unfinished portions to the side.
Now in our world as it is with hunger in our country and other countries on the globe isn't this a shameful waste of food? The children or adults of Darfur aren't going to be eating lobster bisque with asparagus filled puff pastry but waste is waste and somehow this bugs me.
